FEE REFUND POLICY

Sree Chaitanya Institute of Technological Sciences (SCITS) follows a transparent and student-friendly Fee Refund Policy in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), State Government, and other competent regulatory authorities.

General Guidelines

  • Fee refund requests shall be considered only upon submission of a formal application for cancellation of admission by the student or parent/guardian.
  • Refund of fees shall be processed as per the timelines and conditions prescribed by the applicable regulatory authorities.
  • The refund amount may vary depending on the date of withdrawal and the stage of the admission process.
  • Any deductions, wherever applicable, shall be made in accordance with the prevailing UGC/AICTE guidelines.
  • Fees collected towards refundable deposits shall be returned after adjusting any dues payable by the student to the institution.
  • No refund shall be applicable in cases where the student is found to have submitted incorrect information or forged documents during the admission process.
  • Refunds, if eligible, shall be processed through the same mode of payment or through bank transfer to the student’s or parent’s account after verification of the required documents.

The institution reserves the right to modify the Fee Refund Policy in accordance with changes made by the statutory and regulatory authorities. Students are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office for detailed information regarding fee refunds and cancellation procedures.
